It seems like just yesterday that I moved out of my parent’s house to attend a university. Time flies! I had three roommates whom I became really close to by the end of our time together.

You can imagine the sky-high, food-crusted pile in the sink, especially when all of us were rarely around conquer it due to our crazy work and school schedules. So we came up with a well-laid system early in the semester to keep our apartment clean, or as clean as possible for stressed-out college girls. We all had a day or two each week where we were in charge of “manning the dishwasher”. We stuck a genius little magnet sign on the dishwasher front that alerted us as to whether the dishes were clean or dirty.

If I had a nickel for every time someone in my house asked, “Are the dishes in the dishwasher clean or dirty?”, I’d be rich! It’s not too difficult to turn a sign on the front of the dishwasher to eliminate confusion and question. I love it!
And you know what else I love is my trusty Finish dish detergent, which I’ve been faithfully using since I got my new dishwasher two years ago. Our old one gave out way before its time, and I know it was because I didn’t use a great detergent. It makes all the difference!
