Hi all! I’m Emily from Nap-Time Creations and this is my second year joining Christine for Halloween Extravaganza. This year I’m bringing a fun and easy tutorial you can use to decorate anything fabric for fall/Halloween. I made a fun fall towel with sharpies, but you could also do this technique on a t-shirt.
To make this you will need something fabric {towel or t-shirt} BIG fat markers PERMANENT markers and alcohol in a spray bottle.
Draw your design.. I did a pumpkin in the middle and leaves around the edge of the towel.
My pumpkin. Make sure to have a few lines throughout your design so that when it “bleeds” you get some blending.
Then, spray every part that is colored. You want to spray until the fabric is soaked through, so it will take a lot of spraying.
AND… the marker will bleed on the fabric and it looks so cute! What will you make? This is a simple project, but the end result is so fun!
I’d love for you to stop over and check out some of my other Halloween projects
What a clever, cute idea Emily! I bet my kids would enjoy making one too! Thanks SO much for being our guest today!
